Maikel van der Vleuten good results in London Olympia

LONDON - Maikel van der Vleuten has got great results in London Olympia. He won his first World Cup competition with a spectacular round. His father Eric van der Vleuten won the World Cup in London in 2009 with Tomboy. Maikel appeared Saturday with VDL Groep Sapphire at the start. From the 36 combinations there were twelve combinations qualificate for the jump off. Latest starters Maikel van der Vleuten and VDL Groep Sapphire had a quick jump-off round and won the World Cup in London.

"Super. This is my first World Cup competition that I win. It ran in the first barrage really very good. I could keep my rhythm and VDL Groep Sapphire is in a great shape", reacts Maikel from London. "I did'nt even had to go flat on, but could easily drive to win."
